10th Heritage Conference
10th HERITAGE CONFERENCE OF CENTRE D'ESTUDIS DEL BAGES: 'PRESERVING THE IGNATIAN HERITAGE'.
During the eleven months that Ignatius of Loyola spent in Manresa from March 1522 until February 1523, he dedicated his life to prayer, meditation and penance in many places, such as La Seu, the hospital of Santa Llucia or the convent of Els Predicadors.
Since then, the capital of Bages and its spaces and landscapes have been essential references to the Ignatian universe. Moreover, the city is full of places related to the pilgrim's experiences who would end up founding the Society of Jesus.
The 10th Heritage Conference aims to analyse, with the participation of some of the leading experts of the Ignatian world, the Ignatian heritage of Manresa and reflect on the uses and functions beyond the commemoration of the five hundredth anniversary of the arrival of the pilgrim from Loyola,
