Lotus 2022 School Conference

“Lotus 2022” is a consolidated, multi-objective project of “Manresa 2022 Transforma” which specifically aimed at schools. On one hand, it seeks to introduce children and young people - from a secular perspective - to Saint Ignatius’s spiritual experience during his pilgrimage from Loyola to Manresa. By doing so, it helps them to learn about the history of the capital of Bages by involving them in a project that promotes the ‘Manresa brand’ with values of peace, respect and fraternity. On the other hand, it also seeks to raise self-awareness and improve the emotional management of younger citizens. 

The “Lotus” project, organised by the Manresa City Hall in collaboration with Aula Aura, aims to promote emotional education and value education while disseminating personal growth and self-regulation tools in order to make society more physically, mentally and emotionally healthy. There are two main complementary activities:

•  The “Blue Lotus” project https://www.manresa.cat/web/menu/6214-lotus-blau is an experiential itinerary on the last stretch of the Ignatian Way, combining our knowledge of the area with our spiritual connection to the route and the relaxation and wellbeing that this can bring.
